Summary:

Plans and prepares production schedules and coordinates flow of work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creates master production schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each job to meet proposed completion dates.
• Establishes priorities for specific customer orders, and revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability.
• Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime to apprise production planning personnel delays.
• Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established lead times.
• Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.
• Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Prepares production reports.
• May use computer system to track job progress.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Able to withstand environmental factors such as:

o Outside weather conditions

o High, precarious places

o Exposed to fumes and airborne particles

o Very loud noise level

• Required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms on a regular basis.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and seek assistance with weights over 50 lbs.
• Occasionally perform other physical activities as required, such as:

o Stooping

o Bending

o Squatting

o Climbing (including but not limited to, vertical and incline ladders, masts, and king posts)

o Crawling (including but not limited to, through scuttles, manhole covers, tanks, and voids)

Experience Requirements:

• General knowledge of all trades.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
• 5+ years Project Management experience.

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a Drug Screening and Workability Screening.
