Scaffolding Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fill out time cards correctly by knowing the contract and item number(s) of current jobs.
- Perform daily inspections, tagging each scaffold correctly.
- Attend meetings as requested by the customer.
- Know how to write both technical and conditional reports.
- Estimate jobs, to include man hours and materials needed for a quote to be submitted.
- Report any incidents in a timely manner.
- Construct multiple scaffolds, i.e. stationary, hanging, and/or rolling platforms, safely using the proper hanging techniques.
- Able to withstand environmental factors such as:
- Outside weather conditions
- High, precarious places
- Exposed to fumes and airborne particles
- Very loud noise level
- Required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms on a regular basis.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and seek assistance with weights over 50 lbs.
- Occasionally perform other physical activities as required, such as:
- Stooping
- Bending
- Squatting
- Climbing (including but not limited to, vertical and incline ladders, masts, and kingposts)
- Crawling (including but not limited to, through scuttles, manhole covers, tanks, and voids)
Experience Requirements:
- Knowledge of OSHA 1915 for Shipyard and OSHA 1926 for Commercial.
- 10+ years of Scaffold building experience.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience.
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain a Government facility security pass.
- Must be able to pass a Drug Screening and Workability Screening.
